I am a multi-media writer, artist and educator passionate about storytelling that connects people to the natural world in ways that are accessible, exciting, and grounded. I would love to help you realize your next project!
My qualifications: I have a Master's degree in Environmental Studies with a focus in environmental writing, and have taught ecology, writing, and art in various classrooms with students ages 5-50. I have been working as a a digital artist, filmmaker, and writer for the last six years. All of my houseplants are currently alive.
Digital Art
I have been working as a freelance graphic designer since 2020, and am self-taught in the entire Adobe Suite. I also have a background in videography. I love working on projects that have a strong mission and big ideas. Find some samples of my work here.
Writing + Editing services
I've worked as a writer, editor, writing instructor, and DIY-zine scene organizer. While creative nonfiction and poetry are my jam, I also have a background in journalistic and academic writing. Workshops and Events
I've hosted and facilitated classrooms and learnings spaces both online and in-person on topics including natural history, queer ecology, writing workshops, printmaking, graphic design, and mixed media artmaking. You can access a curriculum I've written and watch recorded classroom sessions here.
